An holistic approach to cooking implies seeing food as a powerful medium that connects us to our environment, culture and community. When we prioritise whole, unprocessed products that are locally sourced and seasonally available we apply the understanding that seemingly small food choices create ripples far wider than what we can see in both our bodies and the world around us.

Beatriz is a designer and plant-centric chef based in Portugal, with a background of community activism in the fields of food systems, climate resilience, blue economy and gender equity. Her cooking reflects her systemic worldview and a commitment to health and well-being. Through retreats, workshops and curated events, Beatriz hopes to inspire a love for cooking informed by the acknowledgment of source and to create authentic moments of connection within communities. Beatriz is deeply influenced by a relationship to place and her work is a continuous exploration of diverse cultures, traditions and healing practices.
